Question:

Explain the significance of my dream. I dreamt many people were chasing me to kill me, so I ran until I found a mosque and entered it. Inside I met a man who resembled a Sahabie; he said this is the tomb of Prophet Muhammad and invited me to enter. So I entered.

Answer:

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.

Know, dear brother, a dream gives pleasure and does not harm one Insha Allah. If one dreams, he has to practice as the Prophet guided us in the following Hadith. Abu Qatadah reports that he heard the Prophet saying: "A good dream is from Allah, so if anyone of you saw a dream which he liked, he should not tell it to anybody except to the one whom he loves, and if he saw a dream which he disliked, then he should seek refuge with Allah from its evil and from the evil of Satan, and spit three times (on his left) and should not tell it to anybody, for it will not harm him."
Imam Ahmad narrates in his Musnad from Abu Sayeed that he heard the Prophet saying: "If one of you sees a good dream and likes it then it is from Allah. So, one should praise Allah and inform others. If one sees a bad dream it is from Satan so he should ask refuge with Allah from its evil and not inform any one about it, if he does so, it will not harm him".
On the other hand, we deal with answers only, we do not interpret dreams.
Allah knows best.
