Praying to marry a classmate

Question:

I am a student and want to marry one of my classmates. I have prayed to Allah to guide me and fill her heart with a feeling of love for Allah and His Prophet as well as the love of Sunnah. Also I prayed to Allah to make her extend a proposal. I have also prayed to Allah that once married we'll do right and try to make our children true Muslims. Insha Allah. Is it correct to pursue my wish as I do it after every prayer? Also tell me a Dua' for this matter.

Answer:

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. There is no harm in making the Dua' you mentioned here and there is no hindrance to keep making that Dua'. Here is one of the Masnoon (proved from the Prophet) supplications, you may supplicate of (ALLAHUMMA RABBANA AATINA FIDDUNYA HASANATAN WA FIL AAKHIRATI HASANATAN WA KINA AZABANNAR). (O Allah, O our Lord, grant us the best in this life and the best in the next life, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire). The scholars explained that (grant us the best in this life) means pious wife and righteous children. May Allah guide you to follow what pleases Him. Allah knows best.
