He said we must have babies because, we are going to divorce. Tell me what to do.

Answer:

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.

A husband is obliged to carry out all his wife's rights (imposed upon him) in good manner such as her maintenance, housing, being good and kind with her, and treating justly even if there is a another wife. The above-mentioned rights are imposed upon a husband by Allah and His Prophet Mohammad (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam).
Allah says: {……. And they (women) have rights (over their husbands as regards living expenses, etc.) similar (to those of their husbands) over them (as regards obedience and respect, etc.) to what is reasonable, …….} [2:228]
The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) strongly emphasized in his farewell Hajj saying: "Fear Allah regarding the women. Indeed, you took them with the consignment of Allah and made them lawful for you with the words of Allah" [ al-Bukhari and Muslim ].
The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said warning against dealing unjustly with wives: "If a man has two wives and does not justly with them, in the Hereafter he will come with his half body fallen" [ Muslim, Abu Dawood and others].
Moreover, a husband should not make giving birth a condition to continue the conjugal life since giving birth is with the decree and order of Allah. A wife does not have any power over giving birth, Allah says: {To Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. He creates what he wills. He bestows females (offspring) upon whom He wills, and bestows male (offspring) upon whom He wills. Or He bestows both males and females, and He renders barren whom He wills. Verily, He is the All-Knower and is able to do all things. } [42 :49-50].
So you should fear Allah, be kind with your husband, try your best to show love and affection to him, may Allah change his heart and make him to love you. Indeed, Allah is able to do everything.
Allah knows best.
