The Purpose of Human Beings' Creation

Question:

I was doing Da'wah to a Hindu. He was continually asking why God Created human beings? I could not give a proper answer. I told him to worship God and to give paradise to the righteous and Hell for sinners. I told him Hitler killed thousands of people and that he will receive actual punishment in Hell. Then he asked why God Created Hitler in the first place. Hope you will answer this question.

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

Allah, The Most High, is The Most Wise and The Most Merciful. So, He didn't create this universe vainly and does not allow people to do as they wish. Allah Manages His Kingdom as He Likes. None can intervene in His Preordainments and none can amend His Rulings. Allah cannot be brought to account by anyone while everyone else will be judged by Him.

Indeed, Allah has wisdom behind everything He Creates. Some people may perceive that wisdom, while others do not perceive it. However, all His believing Servants must acknowledge this and accept it as it is, whether they know the wisdom behind that or not. This life is a period of deeds, tests and trials. It will be followed by the eternal life where there are no more deeds and the person is brought to account, rewarded for his good deeds and punished for his bad ones. Good and evil exist so that the good people perform good deeds and the bad ones commit evil deeds and each will be judged for his deeds.

Had there not been bad people, no value would have been allotted to good people. In fact, things are identified by their antonyms. Those who did not live darkness do not enjoy light, and those who did not know sickness do not enjoy health, those who did not know hunger and thirst do not enjoy eating and drinking. Without tyrannic and unjust rulers like Hitler, people would not have appreciated living without them. The Muslim does not question what Allah does and it is obvious that anyone who owns something can dispose of it as he wishes. Since Creation belongs to Allah, His Management of it is just. Finally, we would like to thank you for your efforts, and we ask Allah to guide you to the right path.

Allah knows best.
