Question:

Is this Du'a authentic? "Wa'hdi Qalbi Wa'slul Sakheemata Sadri" reported in any Hadith?

Answer:

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. Ahmad , Abu Dawood , al-Tirmizi , Ibn Majah , and al-Bukhari in al-Adab al-Mufrad and al-Hakim all of them reported the Du'a you mentioned. al-Hakim graded it as Saheeh, Sheikh al-Albani and al-Arnawoot agree with him. The text of the Hadith in Sunan al-Tirmizi is as following: My Lord, help me and do not give help against me; grant me victory, and do not grant victory over me; plan on my behalf and do not plan against me; guide me, and made my right guidance easy for me; grant me victory over those who act wrongfully towards me; O Allah, make me grateful to Thee, mindful of Thee, full of fear towards Thee, devoted to Thy obedience, humble before Thee, or penitent. My Lord, accept my repentance, wash away my sin, answer my supplication, clearly establish my evidence, guide my heart, make true my tongue and draw out malice in my breast . Allah knows best.
