Question:

Please let me know if this Du'a or Dhikr is authentic or not. I heard that to strengthen oneself by wealth or to get good job one can read this Du'a repeatedly. That Du'a is: "Lailaha Illallahul Malikul Haqqul Mubeen, Mohammedur Rasoolullahi Sadiqul Wa'dul Ameen". Please tell how far this is correct or how far this Du'a is authentic.

Answer:

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. Al-Hafidh-al-Iraqi in his book: 'Takhreej li Ihya al-Uloom' said, The Hadith is reported from al-Mustaghfiri . Al-Khateeb said, One of the narrators of the chain is al-Fadal Bin Ghanam , who is weak. Abu Nuaim also mentioned it in 'al-Hilyah' and said, Saleem al-Khwass is in this chain, I think it is the saying of Ali ( Radiya Allahu Anhu). However, the Hadith is weak. Allah knows best.
