Trying to call co-workers to Islam

Question:

How far should some one go in trying to convince their friends of Islam? I work with nice people who have a real positive attitude towards their work and fellow-man. I have given them some copies of stories as well as facts. However they seem to take the papers and, Allah knows if they read them, as they don't respond to me on what they think of them. Should I continue giving them blindly or what?

Answer:

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.

 

No doubt that Da’wah to Allah is a great form of worship.  It is the mission of the Messengers and Prophets.  So, spare no effort in making Da’wah to these people.  Give them more booklets about Islam.  If you can find some films or lectures about the miracles of the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) or the miraculous scientific facts in the Qur'an and the Sunnah give those to them, as well.

Nevertheless, we would like to warn you against falling into anything that could lead to the Anger of your Lord, such as staying in seclusion with alien men or being lenient and soft in speech to the degree of attracting them sexually.

In fact, you should talk to them only when necessary.  If there are men who could make Da’wah to them, that would be better.  There is nothing that equals safety in religion and as you know Satan is so close to the human being that it flows in his/her blood.
