Question:

Is it really written in the Qur'an Muhammad is the last Prophet if so can you please tell me where in the Qur'an which Ayah and which Surah?

Answer:

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.

Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) is the seal of all Prophets and Messengers.  There is no Prophet or Messenger after him as Allah Says (interpretation of meaning): {Muhammad (SAW) is not the father of any man among you, but he is the Messenger of Allâh and the last (end) of the Prophets. And Allâh is Ever All-Aware of everything.}[33:40].

Imam Ibn Katheer said while interpreting this verse: 'This verse is explicit and clear in stating that there is no Prophet or Messenger after our Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam)'.

Allah knows best.
