Wants to clear some misconceptions

Question:
i have a question. i was just going through some videos on youtube and i saw this video which pointed out some contradicitons in the Quran [ASTAGHFIRALLAH] I didn’t mean to open it but I just happened to click on it! example: [22:47] AND [70:4] one says "And they ask you to hasten on the torment! And Allah fails not His Promise. And verily, a day with your Lord is as a thousand years of what you reckon." and the other says "The angels and the Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] ascend to Him in a Day the measure whereof is fifty thousand years," can you please explain to me the 2 verses. In one it says that one of Allah’s days is 1000 human years and the other says that one of Allah’s days is 50000 human years. Also I saw a lot of people on youtube who have converted from islam to christanity. Their parents were good practicing muslim but they say jesus saved them. If they were perfectly fine being muslim why doesn’t Allah stop them from going to the wrong way?
Answer:
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
We ask Allaah to increase your zeal in doing good and make us and yourself be steadfast on His religion.
You have to know, dear brother, that Islam is the true religion. Allaah Says (what means): {Truly, the religion with Allaah is Islam.}[Quran 3:19]
Allaah also Says (what means): {And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.}[Quran 3:85]
Indeed Allaah has abrogated other religions with the advent of Islam. Any person who is on another religion than Islam, either a Jew, a Christian or else, must embrace Islam otherwise he will be from the people of hell.
Imaam Muslim reported in his Saheeh that Abu Hurayrah 
narrated that the Prophet 
said: “By him in whose hand my soul is, no one hears about me from this Ummah (nation), be him a Christian or a Jew, then dies not believing in what I was sent with, except that he will be among the people of hell.”
As it is confirmed that Islam is the true religion, and that Islam abrogated other religions, then it is obligatory on you as a Muslim to believe in this with absolute certainty. Doubting about this negates faith, (Eemaan) and invalidates actions, Allaah Says (what means): {Only those are the believers who have believed in Allaah and His Messenger, and afterward doubt not but strive with their wealth and their lives for the Cause of Allaah. Those! They are the truthful.}[Quran 49:15]
As regards the heavenly Books before the Quran, like the Torah and the Bible, on one hand, they are abrogated by the Quran, the latter being trustworthy in highness and a witness over them.
Allaah Says (what means): {And We have sent down to you (O Muhammad SAW) the Book (this Quran) in truth, confirming the Scripture that came before it and Mohayminan (trustworthy in highness and a witness) over it (old Scriptures). So judge between them by what Allaah has revealed...}[Quran 5:48]
I.e. we revealed onto you the Quran, confirming the scriptures which were revealed before you, and containing the Da’wah to Allaah, enjoining good and forbidding evil, like the books before it, and it is trustworthy in highness over them and it (Quran) abrogated them. On the other hand, the Torah and Bible got forged, falsified and tempered. With by monks and priests. So they contain a lot of lies, falsehood and wrong beliefs, like the belief of the Christians that Jesus (‘Easa) is the son of god, or the belief of the Jews that Ezra (Uzair) is the son of Allaah, and other falsehood.
In addition to this there are many contradictions in these forged books about one fact, this is a proof that it is impossible for these contradictions to be from Allaah, The All-Wise, and Well-Aware of all things.

We advise you not to read these wrong books, and not to visit websites that incite misconceptions as by doing so you will be tempted and afflicted.
Imaam Ahmed reported in his Musnad that Jabir said that “‘Umar Ibn Al-Khattaab came to the Prophet with a book he obtained from the People of the book. So the Prophet read it became angry and said: "Do you doubt it, O, Ibn Al-Khattaab, by Him in whose hand is my soul, I brought it to you as a clean proof, do not ask them about anything, they will inform you about a truth and you will deny it, or a lie and you will believe in it, by Him in whose Hand is my life, if Moses were alive now (and found my prophetical ministry) he would have definitely followed me."
So, you have to be careful not to be subjected to means of trials and tribulations you should ask the people of knowledge about any difficulties that you might have in your religion.
It is not true that embryology is known before Islam. What Allaah stated in the Quran: {Verily, We have created man from Nutfah drops of mixed semen (discharge of man and woman), in order to try him, so We made him hearer, seer.}[Quran 76:2], is the truth which was not discovered in modern science except hundreds of years after the revelation of the Quran.
Doctor Sharif kaff Al Gazal a founding member of the international association of the history of medicine, said after he stated what Western doctors achieved in embryology: "Therefore, it becomes clear that humanity did not know that the foetus is created by the drops of mixed semen (sexual discharge of man and woman) until the 18th century, and they did not find the proof except in the 20th century."
We draw your attention to the fact that Satan whispers to a Muslim, so you have to ward off those whispers, wading off these whispers and ignoring them is an evidence of true belief.
We also advise you to get in touch with Islamic centers and foundations to help you in matters pertaining to your religion, so you should cooperate with them about righteousness. Jama'ah (group/congregation) is a Mercy and scattering into sects is a punishment.
