Normalizing relationships with the Jews

Question:

Can we use the fact that it is not permitted to imitate or support non-Muslims to invalidate the call for normalization of relations with the Jews?

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.

Yes, this proof and other proofs can be used to invalidate the call for normalization of relations with Jews.

Normalization is against the interests of the Muslim nation and is also against the Sharee‘ah. Normalization is impermissible because it means supporting and loving non-Muslims, which is impermissible for all disbelievers in general, not just the Jews. Moreover, normalization threatens the security and independence of the Muslim nation. It also threatens the morals of Muslims.

The impermissibility of imitating and supporting Jews and the obligation to show animosity towards them renders the normalization of relations impermissible.

Allaah Knows best.
