What are the conditions for an acceptable Hajj according to Sunnah?

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

The Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: "Umrah (minor pilgrimage) to Umrah is an expiation to the sins committed by the person between them, and an accepted Hajj (pilgrimage) has no lesser reward than Paradise." The scholars may Allaah have mercy upon them differed about the meaning of an accepted Hajj but their statements in this matter are close to each other. Al-Qurtubee may Allaah have mercy upon him said: 'The statements that have been reported regarding the interpretation of the meaning of an accepted Hajj are close to each other, and that it is a Hajj which fulfilled all its requirements whereby the pubescent fulfils all his duties to the best of his abilities and Allah knows best.' For more conditions of an acceptable Hajj, please refer to Fatwa: 81549.

Allah Knows best.
