Taking a child to the mosque and giving him a toy to play with

Question:

Can I bring a toy for my son to play while I am praying to the Masjid?

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.

 

There is no harm for you to take your son to the mosque and give him something to play with provided he does not disturb the congregation.
