Plucking out the hair of the armpit or cutting nails is allowed during menses

Question:

Is it permissible to pluck out the hair of the armpit or to cut nails during menses, or does one have to purify them first?

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.

 

There is no harm in plucking out the hair of the armpit or cutting nails during menses, and we do not know any difference of opinion among the scholars on this issue, or any Prophetic narration which prohibits it.
