Question:

If a man has two wives of the women of Paradise, will his wife from this world be sad because of the presence of another wife for her husband, as this is the nature of a woman?

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.

There is no envy or hatred among the dwellers of Paradise, and they will not have any dispraised qualities. Allaah Says (what means): {And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment, [so they will be like] brothers.}[Quran 15:47]. Furthermore, Abu Hurayrah may Allaah be pleased with him narrated that the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) said: "The first group who will enter Paradise, their faces will be like the full moon, they do not spit nor blow their noses nor defecate therein. Each one of them will have two wives; their marrow could be seen through their flesh [and bones] because of their beauty. There will be neither disagreement nor hatred amongst them, their (i.e. the first group) hearts will be like the heart of one single man, and they glorify therein Allaah mornings and evenings."

To conclude, the nature of the woman in Paradise is different from that of this life.

Allaah Knows best.
