Question:

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the World; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. I would like to ask a question regarding jinns, can you please explain that i sometimes can see jinns and even in the dreams sometime i see them. Can you explain how is it possible. Also jinns will be questioned by Munkar and Nakhir in their graves and if jinn dies what can someone do, where do jinns bury thier dead and what about their fate. Can you please explain me about the life after dead for jinns.

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.

Yes, it is possible for a human being to see the Jinn and we clarified this in Fatwa 83888. We explained that they are held accountable for their actions exactly just like human beings. According to the view of the majority of the scholars may Allaah have mercy upon them the disbelievers amongst them will enter Hellfire and the believers amongst them will enter Paradise as clarified in Fatwa 86244, so please refer to it.

As regards the details of the life of the Jinn after death, and their being questioned by the angel of death in the grave and the like, then these are matters about which one should not talk about it without evidence; for more benefit, please refer to Fatwa 91492.

The same thing applies to the matter of the death of the Jinn, as we are not religiously required to do anything about it.

Therefore, we advise you to refrain from thinking about such matters and instead concern yourself with things that will benefit you in your worldly matters and in your religion.

Allaah Knows best.
