Can not stand staying with her in-laws

Question:

i face many problems at my in-laws ,i go mad there also sometimes i fall into depression.i am preganant now and all those torchures are unbareble .in this situation can i go to stay at my non muslim parents house.please help me with an answers which is suitable according to quran.plz reply soon

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.

 

If what you mentioned in the question about your parents in-law is confirmed, then they are wrong but we advise you to be patient about their harm. For more benefit, please refer to Fatwa 87240.

As a wife, your husband is obliged to provide you with a separate accommodation, as this is one of your rights for more benefit in this regard, please refer to Fataawa 86132 and 86388.

As regards going to reside with your parents, this is something permissible if you are safe from any harm by staying with them. It is not a condition that your husband gives permission to this effect as long as his parents cause harm to you and as long as your husband is not providing you with a separate accommodation which would repel this harm, and the like.

If we presume that your husband refuses for you to go to your parents, then you should try to convince him in a nice way in order to avoid any disputes and disagreements.
