Ramadan and the Quran - II

Describing the Quran, Allah The Almighty Says (what means): {And We have sent down to you the Book as clarification for all things.} [Quran 16: 89]

In another verse Allah The Almighty Says (what means): {In no way have We neglected anything whatever in the Book} [Quran 6: 38]
Given the indication of these two verses, everything humans need to reform their life in this world as well as in the Hereafter is included in the Quran. This, however, does not mean that the Sunnah (Prophetic tradition) is redundant; rather, the one who follows the Quran and acts accordingly must follow the Sunnah as well and act upon it. In many cases, the Quran refers us to the Sunnah, as Allah The Almighty Says (what means):{And whatever the Messenger has given you - take; and what he has forbidden you - refrain from.} [Quran 59: 7]
As a matter of fact, the Quran considered obeying the messenger sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) part of obeying Allah The Almighty. Allah The Almighty Says (what means): {He who obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah.} [Quran 4: 80]
Additionally, Allah conditioned attaining His love with loving messenger sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ). Allah The Almighty Says (what means): {Say, [O Muhammad], "If you should love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."} [Quran 3: 31]
The last verse indicates that the one who loves Allah The Almighty must follow His Messenger, sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ), through compliance with his Sunnah and acting according to its teachings.
6- The Quran has an inherent advantage that helps in memorizing and understanding it, which is using easy words with clear meanings. Allah The Almighty Says (what means): {And We have certainly made the Quran easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?} [Quran 54: 17]
Commenting on the verse, Ibn Katheer may Allah have mercy upon him said, "It means that Allah has made easy the words of the Quran and has also made clear its meanings for whoever wants, so that people will remember." [Tafseer Ibn Katheer]
Mujaahid may Allah have mercy upon him said, "Allah has made it easy to be recited." [Tafseer At-Tabari]
As-Suddi may Allah have mercy upon him said, "Allah has made its words easy to be recited by tongues." [Tafseer Ibn Katheer]
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbaas, may Allah be pleased with him, said, "Had not Allah made it easy for humans, none would have been able to pronounce the words of Allah The Almighty." [Tafseer Ibn Katheer]
Allah The Almighty Says (what means): {So, [O Muhammad], We have only made Quran easy in the Arabic language that you may give good tidings thereby to the righteous and warn thereby a hostile people.} [Quran 19: 97]
This verse is one of the greatest-ever verses and clearest proofs behind the greatness and miraculous nature of the Quran. Memorizing the Quran and reciting it perfectly is easier than learning other kinds of speech. Some non-Arabs can read the Quran although they do not know any Arabic. There are even many unlettered people, who can read nothing else but the Quran.
As for the meaning, we observe that each person takes from the meanings of the Quran according to his understanding and knowledge. An ordinary man understands the general meaning of the Quran, the seeker of knowledge understands the Quran according to the extent of his knowledge, and the well-versed scholar dives into its endless meanings to derive various sciences and benefits. It could even happen that he spends his entire life on only one Surah or verse without deducing all its benefits and meanings. It was narrated that Shaykh ul-Islam, Abu Ismaa‘eel Al-Harawi may Allah have mercy upon him held 360 classes to interpret the verse in which Allah The Almighty Says (what means):{Indeed, those for whom the best [reward] has preceded from Us - they are from it far removed.} [Quran 21: 101] [As-Siyar by Ath-Thahabi]
There are many famous classifications by scholars regarding just one Surah or verse. This is due to the abundant meanings and sciences included in the glorious Quran.
