Question
Assalmualikum.... If someone is getting body massage (nacked) by an older women after giving child birth for her weakness, is it permissible in Islamic Law?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
It is not permissible for a woman to allow another woman to massage her in a way that results in her seeing what is forbidden to see from the massaged woman’s body. The fact that this woman is elderly does not make it permissible for her to do that. For more benefit on the ‘Awrah of a woman in front of other women, please refer to Fataawa 90940 and 92295.
A woman may do this massage by her own self, and if she needs this massage and is unable to do it herself and her husband is also unable to do it, then it is permissible for another woman to do this for her provided that this is restricted to the place she needs to be massaged.
