Saying a different Du‘aa’ in each Sujood in one prayer

Question

asalaam alaikum can we say different types of duas in sujood in ruku in one prayer?[i mean for example if we are praying 4rakah prayer, the duas said in ruku and sujud in first rakah are not repeat in second rakah and also third rakah we say different duas in sujud and ruku, that is narrated from the prophet CAN WE DO THIS?]

Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.

It is prescribed for the Muslim to supplicate Allaah The Exalted for anything good in this world and the Hereafter during Sujood in the manner one wishes, and there is no need to repeat the same Du‘aa’ in every Sujood. One may say a different Du‘aa’ in each Sujood. The only thing that is prescribed to repeat is the Tasbeeh (i.e. "Subhaana Rabbiya al-A‘la," or "Glory to Allaah, The Most High") in each Sujood.

Allaah Knows best.
