Is there anything that is called ''lower transmissions''?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.
Some people say this expression "lower transmissions" and they mean by it magic at a distance. This means that one sends magic from a distance to a person and harms him without that person consuming something which contains magic, or taking from him something [which belongs to him] and then attaching magic to it. If this is what is meant, then this really exists and some magicians do magic this way. However, it is an obligation to stay away from this and warn people against it. Some people call this kind of magic the "lower magic."
