Question
Small Muslim Organisation in UK provide different services to the Muslim Community (Which is very poor community), and they do not have enought income to carry on these activities. To what extend Small Muslim Organisations can benefit from Zakat Fund?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
These organizations should not benefit from Zakah money but they can receive Zakah money from its donors and distribute it on the people who are eligible for it.
However, it is not permissible for these organizations to spend Zakah money on other than the categories specified by Sharee’ah as eligible for Zakah. For more benefit, please refer to Fataawa 88368 and 81303.
