Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

We have already issued Fatwa 82399 clarifying the religious requirements for a woman to work, so please refer to it. We have also issued Fatwa 83983 clarifying the characteristics of Hijab, and we clarified that it is forbidden for a woman to wear trousers, because this is imitating men and the trousers expose the shape of her body in front of marriageable men. Therefore, it is not permissible for you to work in this company since you are unable to wear your Hijab unless you are in a dire necessity to work there, in a way that if you leave this job, you will not find what to eat and drink and fulfil other life necessities, for you and for the people whom you are obliged to spend on. If this is the case, then you may continue to do this job until you find another job by which you would fulfil your necessities.

As regards the income which you get from this company, then this depends on the kind of work which you do. If the work is lawful, the income is lawful but you are sinful for not wearing Hijab, and if the work is forbidden, then the income thereof is forbidden. For more benefit, please refer to Fatwa 90708.

Finally, we ask Allaah to make you firm on His Path and enable you to do what pleases Him.

Allaah Knows best.
