Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds.  I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

It is well known that the daughter inherits from her father if she is not prevented by any impediments that legally prevent her from inheritance, like if she is the one who killed him or that she and him are of different religions. So, if there is no impediment that prevents her from the inheritance, then she inherits from him.

However, her share in the inheritance varies depending on the existence of other heirs. Therefore, we say to the questioning sister that you have a share in the amount referred to in the question if there are no impediments preventing you from the inheritance, but determining the exact share to which you are entitled depends on determining all other heirs correctly and completely. So, if you are keen to know the answer accurately [your exact share], please enter your question through the inheritance.

Allaah Knows best.
