Question

which person will receive first the deeds of book on the day of qUA1yamah JUDGEMENTDAY

Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.

We do not know a Saheeh (sound) Hadeeth in that regard. As for what is reported about it while it is not sound, it is the Hadeeth narrated on the authority of Zayd ibn Thaabit that the Messenger of Allaah, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: "The first to be given his record of deeds with his right hand of this nation is ‘Umar ibn Al-Khattaab and he will have a ray like that of the sun..." [Reported by Ibn Al-Jawzi in Al-Mawdhoo‘aat and he said: "It is not a Saheeh Hadeeth and the one who is accused of lying (in its chain of narrators) is ‘Umar who is known as Al-Kurdi." Ad-Daaraqutni said: "He was a liar who used to fabricate Ahaadeeth."]

Also, both Ibn Abi ‘Aasim and At-Tabaraani reported in the book of Al-Awaa'il, and Adh-Dhiyaa' Al-Maqdisi in Al-Ahaadeeth Al-Mukhtaarah from Ibn ‘Abbaas that he said: "The first to be given his record of deeds with his right hand is Abu Salamah ibn ‘Abdul-Asad and it is he who will say: {"Here, read my record!}[Quran 19:69] ... and the first to be given his record of deeds with his left hand is his brother Sufyaan ibn ‘Abdul-Asad." [Its Isnaad (i.e. chain of narrators) has Habeeb ibn Zurayq, the scribe of Maalik, about whom An-Nasaa‘i said: his Hadeeth is Matrook (i.e. his narrations are rejected). Ibn Hibbaan said: he reports the fabricated ones attributing them to the trustworthy narrators. Ibn ‘Adiyy said: all of the Ahaadeeth he reported are fabricated.]

Allaah Knows best.
