A fabricated narration about the crying of women

Question

As Salamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu I received the following so-called Hadith in an email would appreciate it if you could advise me if it is weak or a fabricated Hadith. Prophet Mohammed (Peace & Mercy of GOD Be Upon Him) Defined it very Beautifully: Be careful-do not make a woman cry, because Allah (SWT) counts her tears. A WOMAN CAME OUT OF A MANS RIB. NOT FROM HIS FEET TO BE WALKED ON, NOT FROM HIS HEAD TO BE SUPERIOR OVER, BUT FROM HIS SIDE TO BE EQUAL, UNDER THE ARM TO BE PROTECTED AND NEXT TO THE HEART TO BE LOVED Jazakallahu Khairan May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala reward you for your efforts Wa Alaikum Salam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.

It is not correct to attribute this narration to the Prophet unless it is authentically reported in one of the books of Sunnah with a sound chain of narrators. We searched the books of Sunnah and the Islamic resource books at hand but we have not come across it. We did not even find it amongst the fabricated and weak narrations. Therefore, this narration has no basis.

As regards the narration that a woman was created from the rib of a man, Al-Bukhari reported that: “She is created from a curved rib.” This is an indication that Hawaa’ (Eve) is created from the left rib of Aadam (Adam) as stated by the scholars .

Allaah Knows best.
