Can one use a electeic trimmer on shortest cutting level to trim in pubic and underarm hair? The trimmer can ahorten but not remove from root, please dont refer to another fatwa, i already checked them and they are all about shaving not about using trimmer machine, so please dont refer to another fatwa, is trimming enough or do i need to shave or pluck

It is permissible for you to remove the pubic hair using a trimmer or any other method. You are not required to pluck the pubic hair or shave it completely. It is stated in Al-Mughni by Ibn Qudamah ():"Al-Istihdad (Removal of pubic hair): Shaving the pubic hair is recommended, as it is part of the natural disposition (fitrah). Neglecting it is considered improper, so its removal is recommended. It does not matter by what means one removes it, as the goal is simply to remove it. It was said to Abu ‘Abd Allah — Imam Ahmad () —: 'What do you think if a man trims his pubic hair with scissors without removing it completely?' He replied: 'I hope that it suffices, Allah willing.'” [End of statement]
