Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.

With regard to the ruling on working in a news agency, we have already clarified this in Fatwa 84615, so please refer to it.

As regards your doubt of discharging Mani (i.e. a white liquid that comes out with strength when there is an ardent desire, and smells like palm trees or dough) after performing Ghusl (i.e. ritual bath), then such doubts should not be considered unless you are sure about the matter.

If you are sure that you discharged some Mani after Ghusl, then it is sufficient for you to perform ablution according to the most correct opinion of the scholars. It is reported that 'Ali and Ibn 'Abbaas were asked about a man who was in sexual defilement and discharged some Mani after having performed Ghusl, they answered that it is enough for him to perform ablution. Moreover, Imaam Ahmad was asked about it and he replied: "It is sufficient for him to perform ablution." This is of course if the Mani came out after the same state of sexual defilement for which you had performed Ghusl.

Allaah Knows best.
