- Death of 'Amr Ibn Al-'Aas (on the night of 'Eed Al-Fitr) - 43 A.H.

- Death of Al-Bukhari (on the night of 'Eed Al-Fitr) - 256 A.H.

- Birth of Ibn Hazm, one of the most prominent scholars of Andalusia. He was one of the most prolific Islamic scholars in terms of composition and classification. He wrote around 400 volume in Fiqh, Hadeeth, Islamic fundamentals, literature, rhetoric and even medicine - 384 A.H.

- The Death of the great leader, vanguard, and knight of the brigades Abu ‘Uqbah Al-Jarraah ibn ‘Abdullaah Al-Hakami  may  Allah  have  mercy  upon  him. He was the governor of Al-Basra and Al-Kufa. He narrated Hadeeths from Imaam ibn Seereen. Abu ‘Uqbah was known for his heroism and bravery, along with his piety and devotion in worship. His death was a catastrophe for the Muslims – 112 A.H.
