Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.

Yes, it is permissible for a husband to kiss his wife in front of his parents or children if the purpose is to show respect and esteem and if it is hoped from such an act to spread affection and love among the members of the family. However, kissing in this case should be at special occasions so that it would not be considered as a strange act. As regards kissing for pleasure, then this should not be done in front of parents or children at the age of distinction, as one normally should be ashamed of doing so, therefore one should do this in private. The same thing applies for a woman who kisses her husband in that way.

Allaah knows best.
