Greatest Glad Tidings for Pilgrims - II

Reward of Talbiyah

Sahl ibn Sa‘d, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated that the Prophet,  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allah exalt his mention ), said: “No pilgrim says Talbiyah but whatever on his right and left of stones, trees or clay will say Talbiyah to the farthest extent on earth from here and there on his right and left.” [Al-Albaani: Saheeh]
Zayd ibn Khaalid Al-Juhani, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the Prophet,  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allah exalt his mention ), said: “Jibreel (Gabriel) came to me and said, ‘Command your Companions to raise their voices with Talbiyah because it is one of the symbols of Hajj.”[Ibn Maajah; Al-Albaani: Saheeh]
 
Reward of circumambulation and touching the corners of the Ka‘bah
Ibn ‘Abbaas, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the Messenger of Allah,  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allah exalt his mention ), said: “Circumambulating the Ka‘bah is just like prayer except that you are permitted to speak during it. So, whoever speaks during circumambulation should only speak good.” [Al-Albaani: Saheeh]
Ibn ‘Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the Prophet,  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allah exalt his mention ), said regarding touching the Black Stone and the Yemeni Corner: “Touching them indeed erases sins.” [Al-Albaani: Saheeh li ghayrih]
The Prophet,  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allah exalt his mention ), said: “Whoever circumambulates the Ka‘bah seven times and prays two Rak‘ahs, his reward is equal to the reward of freeing a slave.” [Al-Albaani: Saheeh]
 
Reward of standing in ‘Arafah during Hajj
Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the Prophet,  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allah exalt his mention ), said: “Indeed, Allah boasts before the dwellers of heaven with the people who stand in ‘Arafaat saying, ‘Look at My slaves, they came to Me disheveled and dusty.’”[Al-Albaani: Saheeh]
Talhah ibn ‘Ubaydullaah, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the Prophet,  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allah exalt his mention ), said: “The best supplication is that during the Day of ‘Arafah (ninth of Thul-Hijjah) and the best thing which I and the Prophets before me said is ‘laa ilaaha illa Allah wahdahu laa shareeka lah (none is worthy to be worshipped but Allah Alone Who has no partner.)’”[Al-Albaani: Hasan]
‘Aa’ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, narrated that the Messenger of Allah,  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allah exalt his mention ), said: “There is no day when Allah frees as many slaves from Hell as He does on the Day of ‘Arafah. He descends (Exalted be He) then He boasts before His angels with His slaves and says ‘What do they want?’” [Al-Albaani: Saheeh]
 
Reward of throwing pebbles
Ibn ‘Abbaas, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the Prophet,  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allah exalt his mention ), said: “When Prophet Ibraaheem (Abraham), may Allah exalt his mention, wanted to perform the Hajj rites, Satan blocked his way near ‘Aqabah. Ibraaheem threw seven pebbles at him whereupon Satan sank into the ground. Again Satan appeared to him near the second Jamrah. Ibraaheem threw seven pebbles at him and he again sank into the ground. Once again Satan approached him near the third Jamrah, and again Ibraaheem threw seven pebbles at him and once again Satan sank into the ground.”Ibn ‘Abbaas added, “You throw pebbles at Satan, and (in doing so) you follow the path of your forefather Ibraaheem.” [Al-Albaani: Saheeh]
 
Reward of shaving hair in Hajj rites
Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the Prophet,  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allah exalt his mention ), said: “O Allah, grant forgiveness to those who have their heads shaved.”They (Companions of the Prophet) said, “Messenger of Allah, (what about those) who have their hair shortened?” He said:“O Allah, grant forgiveness to those who have their heads shaved.” They said, “Messenger of Allah, (what about those) who have their hair shortened?”He said:“O Allah, grant forgiveness to those who have their heads shaved.”They said, “Messenger of Allah, (what about those) who have their hair shortened?”He said:"And to those who have their hair shortened.” [Muslim]
In a long Hadeeth, Ibn ‘Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the Prophet,  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allah exalt his mention ), said: “…you will have a good deed recorded and a sin obliterated for every shaved hair.” [Al-Albaani: Hasan]
 
Reward of offering Sacrifice
Allah The Almighty Says (what means): { And whoever honors the Symbols of Allah - indeed, it is from the piety of hearts.* For you the animals marked for sacrifice are benefits for a specified term; then their place of sacrifice is at the ancient House.} [Quran 22:32-33]
Ibn ‘Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the Prophet,  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allah exalt his mention ), said: "The best acts of Hajj are ‘Ajj and Thajj." [At-Tirmithi; Al-Albaani: Hasan] ‘Ajj is to raise the voice with Talbiyah and Thajj is to slaughter camels and sacrificial animals.
 
Reward of praying in Al-Masjid Al-Haraam and Al-Masjid An-Nabawi
Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the Prophet,  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allah exalt his mention ), said: “A prayer in my Mosque is better than one thousand prayers in any other mosque except Al-Masjid Al-Haraam.”[Muslim]
Jaabir ibn ‘Abdullaah, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the Prophet,  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allah exalt his mention ), said: “A prayer in my mosque is better than one thousand prayers in any other mosque except Al-Masjid Al-Haraam. A prayer in Al-Masjid Al-Haraam is better than a hundred thousand prayers.”[Ahmad and Ibn Maajah; Al-Albaani: Saheeh]
 
Reward of praying in Qubaa’ Mosque
Usayd ibn Thuhayr Al-Ansaari, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the Prophet,  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allah exalt his mention ), said: “(Reward of) Prayer in the Qubaa’ Mosque equals (the reward of) ‘Umrah.” [At-Tirmithi and Ibn Maajah; Al-Albaani: Saheeh]
 
Reward of drinking from Zamzam water
Jaabir, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the Messenger of Allah,  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allah exalt his mention ), said: “The water of Zamzam serves for the purpose for which it is drunk.”[Ahmad and Ibn Maajah; Al-Albaani: Saheeh]
Ibn ‘Abbaas, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the Prophet,  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allah exalt his mention ), said: “The best water on earth is the water of Zamzam. It serves as food for hunger and cure for disease.” [At-Tabaraani; Al-Albaani: Saheeh]
