Combining prayers in one’s house before he starts his journey
Assalamu alaikum.I was told that to do jamm and kasr for prayer for example Dhuhr and Asr it should be done immediately after Azan of Dhuhr prayer and not afterwards if we start journey shortly after Dhuhr prayer.Then my question is 1.Say we start journey at 3PM,and Asr is at 4 PM cant we make Jamm and Kasr at the time of Dhuhr ar 12:45 PM?Because journey.. Combining and shortening his prayers
I have two concerns regarding combining and shortening prayers "Jama and qasr".1.I have to travel to work 4 times a week for 85km and want to know if I'm permitted to combine an shorten Zuhr and Asr at work on these days.

Has a job which does not permit him to pray
I am a student in the United States. During this summer I was able to find a job. While working I can't pray, therefore before leaving home I used to pray Dhuhr and Asr. Then when I finish work, I pray Maghrib and Isha.

It is wrong to combine Asr with Maghrib or Fajr with Zuhr
Because of urgent work, sometimes I miss Asr and combine it with Maghrib. During journey it is not possible to offer Fajr prayer so I pray it in the time of Zuhr.
