Performing circumcision does not contradict the creation of man in the best form

Question

Did God create man in his full form? If yes then why do Muslims go for the process of removing the skin from the male sex organ? Isn't it something like questioning the Great God Almighty ?

Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.

Undoubtedly, Allaah created man in the best form. Allaah Says (what means): {We have certainly created man in the best of stature.}[Quran 95:4] Allaah also Says addressing man (what means): {Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you?}[Quran 82:7] The meaning of the best of stature (or best form) is that Allaah created man in full proportion, with a tongue with which he speaks, and a hand and fingers by which he holds things, and He adorned him with mental ability, and made him able to see and hear. There are many other good features which Allaah endowed man with.

Circumcision does not mean objecting the creation of Allaah, because it is Allaah Who created us in the best form and it is He Who legislated for us to remove that piece of skin from our body. Allaah created this piece of skin in us so that we would worship him by removing it and He would reward us for doing so. We also worship Him and get closer to Him by cutting our nails and plucking the hair under the armpit and so forth.

The fact that these exist does not mean that man is not created in the best form because the existence of these things does not negate the best form and best shape of man and does not negate those good features upon which Allaah created mankind. Glorified is Allaah, The Best Creator.

Allaah Knows best.
