Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

If the friends of your aunt’s husband gifted to him that laptop and he gave permission to your aunt to lend it to you, then it is permissible to use it and the fact that your aunt’s husband works in that bank does not have any effect on this loan, or that the reason of their friendship or knowing each other in his forbidden work.

However, if you mean that this computer was given to your aunt’s husband as bribery or as a compensation for his Riba-based work, then in principle what a person possesses belongs to him and this principle cannot be changed except with evidence. If you have evidence that the laptop was given to him as bribery and the like, then it is not permissible for you to benefit from it because it is ill-gotten money, and whoever knows this should avoid it.

Allaah Knows best.
