Fatwa CenterIslamic TV programmes presented by women
Question
I am new to Islam. I watch an Islamic TV channel for learning more about Islam but some of its programs are delivered by a woman. Her talks & presentation deeply touch the heart and develop divine love. Is it Ok to watch such programs as per Islam?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
First of all, we thank and praise Allaah Who guided you to Islam and we ask Him to make you firm and steadfast on His Religion until the Day you meet Him.
Also, may Allaah reward you for being keen on learning more about Islam, and we ask Allaah to enable you to do so.
If this channel really presents beneficial programmes, then it is permissible for you to benefit from them. As regards the programme which is presented by that woman, then if it (this programme) really has benefits which one cannot find in other programmes, then you may benefit from it by watching it, but you should endeavour to lower your gaze and not look at her.
Furthermore, you should benefit from beneficial programmes which are broadcasted on other channels or in other Islamic sites.
