Burying some parts of a slaughtered sheep in the corner of one's house

Question

As salam walakum dear brother, some sheik asked us to slaughter a sheep on ALLAH name and distribute the the meat to the poors but the skin head legs and the stomach should be bury in the corner of our house. Is this kind of thing permissible in islam?

Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

It appears from the context of the question that this matter has no relation with the slaughtering for the Sake of Allaah in principle; rather, it may be for getting closer to the jinn and claiming to ward off their evil and other things that have relation with magic and superstition. The evidence about this is that that man ordered you to bury parts of this animal in a corner of the house; this is indeed the matter of the magicians and jugglers.

Since this is the case, it is not permissible to carry out what he ordered you to do; moreover, it is not permissible to go to him in principle. For more benefit, please refer to Fatwa 18831.

Allaah Knows best.
