Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

It is not permissible for a Muslim to establish an affectionate relationship with a non-Mahram woman as we clarified in Fatwa 81356, and we clarified how to treat love sickness in Fatwa 84544.

You should know that committing sins is a major cause for calamities; Allaah Says (what means): {And whatever strikes you of disaster — it is for what your hands have earned; but He pardons much.}[Quran 42:30]

It might be that your illegal relationship is the reason for your unhappiness, and it is only repentance that can take off the calamity. Therefore, both of you should take the initiative to repent and stop this illicit relationship. You are not allowed to talk to her or send her messages because she is married. Continuing this relationship with her is an attempt to spoil the marital relationship with her husband and this is another evil sin.

For more benefit on the ruling of spoiling the relationship between a wife and her husband, please refer to Fatwa 92056.

Therefore, you are obliged to leave her alone.

It should be noted that it is not permissible for a father to force his daughter to marry someone whom she does not like according to the preponderant view of the scholars may Allaah have mercy upon them.

If he marries her off by force, then she may accept what her father did if she wishes, otherwise she may refuse to marry as we clarified in Fataawa 90190 and 90704. If she can continue this marriage as a way of being kind and dutiful to her father, then she may do so, as Allaah may bless this marriage for this reason.

Allaah Knows best.
