Can a woman who has menstruation or post-partum bleeding eat and drink during the day in the month of Ramadhaan?

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu 'alyhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.

Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen said: "Yes, she can eat and drink during the day in the month of Ramadan, but it is better that this is done in secret if she has small boys at home as this would confuse them."
