Fatwa CenterHis girlfriend cheated him and did not embrace Islam
Question
Assalamu Alaikum I really appreciated your time with me Am A Muslim and i used have a non muslim girlfriend from different county i know its a sin to have girlfriend we were in relationship more that 6 month now we break up because she cheated me in many type. During our relationship i talk about islam because i want her to convert and she like it one day she told me that she want to convert because she found a true religion i didnt even ask her convert (only allah can gave hidayath to a person) then she said she want to study more about it then i bought quran and other islamic book in her language After break up i ask her that she want to convert or not ? she replied me that she was using me and she dont believe in any god i was shock when i hear it to be honest i spend lots on her i said her that u can cheat me no problem but not my religion she replied me she dont care about it now my question is 1)She still got the quran with her.do allah punish me if she miss use it 2)Do allah answer my tears ? 3)can i curse her? 4)I know she will get punishment after death i want to know that she will get punishment now so that i can see her suffering 5)Allah will forgive me for all my sin that i did with her Thank U Please help me
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
First of all, you must sincerely repent to Allaah from that forbidden relationship; the conditions of a sincere repentance are already mentioned in Fatwa 86527, so please refer to it.
Whoever sincerely repents, Allaah accepts his repentance even if he/she has committed great major sins. Allaah Says (what means): {Say, “O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning] do not despair of the mercy of Allaah. Indeed, Allaah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.”}[Quran 39:53] Hence, you should take the initiative to repent and think good of your Lord.
On the other hand, we did not understand what you meant by Allaah answering your tears; if you mean regretting and repenting, then a true repentance is of course accepted by Allaah as we have already discussed.
Secondly, you are not sinful - Allaah willing – if we presume that that woman misused the translation of the Quran which you had given her because you gave it to her with a good intention, which is that she benefits from it.
Thirdly, it is not permissible for you to curse her personally; according to the preponderant opinion of the scholars 
cursing a particular non-Muslim is not permissible as we discussed in Fatwa 88954.
Fourthly, how can you authoritatively assert that she will be punished after death? It might be that Allaah will guide her and she would embrace Islam, and Islam wipes out all previous sins as confirmed in a Hadeeth reported by Muslim 
.
Besides, what would be your benefit if you see her being punished? Instead of this, ask Allaah to guide her [to Islam] and enable her to repent.
Finally, it might be that you would take a lesson from this illicit relationship and not do that again. Also, you should be vigilant not to be deceived by what you were deceived by in the past.
