Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.

We are not aware of any evidence that confirms the possibility of causing harm to you. However, we ask Allaah to protect our dear sister who repented sincerely and fortified herself with Athkaar and reported supplications from the effect of that sin and the evil of magicians and sorcerers; for whoever repents from sin is like the one who did not sin as it was stated in the Hadeeth.

The Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: "Recite Soorah Al-Ikhlaas and Al- Mu‘awwithatayn (Soorah Al-Falaq and Soorah An-Naas) three times at dawn and dusk. This will suffice you in all respects." [At-Tirmithi, An-Nasaa'i, Abu-Daawood and Ibn Maajah]

Finally, it is worth noting that it is prohibited to ask astrologers and soothsayers or believe what they say; for the Messenger of Allaah, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: "Whoever goes to a soothsayer or fortuneteller and believes what he says has disbelieved in that which was revealed to Muhammad." [At-Tirmithi]

Allaah Knows best.
