We heard some Saudi scholars speaking bitterly of Shaykh Taariq As-Suwaydaan due to his belittling of some of the companions and because he quotes fabricated narrations…etc. Please advise.

All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and messenger.

Dr. Taariq As-Suwaydaan is academically specialized in some academic studies in the field of business and administration in one of the American educational institutions; thus, one may benefit from him in this field.

Allaah Willing, Dr. Taariq will be rewarded for his Da‘wah activities. Nevertheless, it is incorrect to judge all his tapes as beneficial, since they can be dangerous for common people who cannot distinguish between right and wrong.
