Going to magicians for treatment is impermissible

Question

Shaykhs and knowledgeable people tried to treat me with the Quran but in vain. Is it permissible for me to ask a magician to treat me?

Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.

It is impermissible to ask magicians to treat you from a magic ailment or any disease. If a certain Shaykh is unable to treat you using Ruqyah (Quranic healing), then you can go to another one.

Be patient until Allaah the Almighty cures you because this may be a test. You should know that Allaah The Almighty will provide you with a way out. Allaah the Almighty Says (what means): {Indeed, he who fears Allaah and is patient, then indeed, Allaah does not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good.} [Quran 12:90]

Allaah Knows best.
