Question
How can I get rid of a magic spell when I find it inside the house? How can I shield the house against magic? Is it sufficient to play a tape of Chapter Al-Baqarah inside the house or should a member of the family recite it?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.
According to the Hanbali scholar Ibn Muflih 
if the magic spell is written, one can get rid of it by erasing or burying it if the person knows where it is. It is narrated in the Hadeeth about Labeed ibn Al-A‘sam that the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, ordered that the magic spell be buried. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
There is no doubt that reciting Chapter Al-Baqarah is one of the greatest means of treatment and protection against magic. On the authority of Abu Hurayrah 
the Messenger of Allaah, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, stated that Satan flees from the house in which Chapter Al-Baqarah is recited. [Muslim] The same purpose may be achieved by playing a cassette or a CD. However it is preferable that a person recites it himself because this involves sincerity and a conscious intention in the heart.
