Accepted Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said that the Hour will not come before the Euphrates uncovers a mountain of gold that people will fight over. 99 out of each 100 will be killed, and every man amongst them will wish that he was the one saved. [Muslim].

In another Hadeeth on the authority of Abu Hurayrah the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said that the Euphrates will uncover a mountain of gold, and he, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, ordered anyone who is present at that time not to take anything from it. [Al-Bukhari].
