Doubting purity of clothes after urinating

Question

Assalaamu alaykum. I am a 16-year-old male who was born in a Muslim family. I have the following questions:
1) Sometimes I doubt that my clothes are clean after using toilet. In such case, what should I do?
2) A few times, I have noticed that even after having used the bathroom, urine drops continue to drop from my member. What should I do to stop that from happening?
3) There are some occasions when I suspect that I urinated while I was asleep. Should I worry about it or let it go thinking that it is only a suspicion?
4) Sometimes I am certain that I urinated while asleep. What should I do to clean my bed and blanket?
I hope that you will answer my questions very clearly. May Allaah reward you.

Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

It seems, dear Brother, that you are suffering from some sort of obsessive whisperings (waswaas). We advise you to totally disregard such whisperings; this is the most effective remedy for them.

As for your first question, if you suspect that your clothes are stained with impurity after having used the toilet or at any other time, then you should not do anything because the basic principle is that your clothes are pure. This does not change until proven otherwise with certainty. As long as you do not know with certainty that your clothes carry impurity, you are not required to purify them. Please refer to fatwa 206935.

As for your other questions, please refer to the following fataawa 82085, 85661, 85203, and 92050.

Allaah knows best.
