Fatwa CenterPouring water on urine stains without rubbing purifies them
Question
Let us say that some urine drops got onto my clothes. Will my clothes become clean if I pour water over the area three times without rubbing just by pouring?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad, sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
If your clothes are stained with urine, it is enough to pour water over the stained spot until you are certain or you think that all traces of urine are most likely gone, and there is no need to wring them. An-Nawawi 
wrote, "If there is an impurity on the garment or the like, then one should pour a larger quantity of water over it. There are two views regarding whether it is required to squeeze the water from the garment or not; the sounder of the two is that it is not required; rather, pouring water over the impurity purifies the clothes immediately." [Al-Majmooʻ]
