Afflicted with Whispers About Urine on the Carpet and Floor

Question

I was staying over at someone’s house and could not hold my bladder. I rushed to the toilet but I’m not sure if I leaked drops of urine on their carpet along the way. I retraced my steps and secretly wiped my path With anti bacterial wipes (as that’s all I could get my hands on immediately) all the way from where the incident began to the toilet, including the carpet. I’m pretty sure I wiped every possible step but I’m not certain. I’m concerned because now when the family step on the carpet it may be making them napaak and transferring the napaaki to other places, particularly when they walk on the carpet with wet feet after doing wudhu. it may be making them and In turn their prayers invalid. Also If long clothes (jubbah etc) touch the places where there could have been urine then will it make their clothes unclean.

Answer

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

All what you have mentioned is nothing but whispers, and they are not real.

As long as you are not certain that the floor has been stained with any urine, then the basic principle is that it is not stained with it and that it is pure. You should not have done anything of what you did, so you should repel these whispers and doubts and do not pay attention to any of them. Their carpet and their floor and everything else (in the house) is ruled to be pure.

Allah knows best.
