Answer

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

First of all, we pray to Allah The Almighty to grant you quick healing for the incontinence you suffer from. Nevertheless, you are not required to perform Ghusl as you mentioned; rather, it is enough for you to wash the place of urine only, place a pad or the like to prevent the spread of impurity, and perform Wudu (ablution) for every prayer after its time begins. Knowing that keeping a pad or the like, is obligatory according to some scholars, while some others said that it is desirable.

An-Nawawi may Allaah have mercy upon him said in Al-Majmoo’:

Our companions [i.e. the scholars of the Shaafi’i School] said that the ruling on urinary incontinence and Madhi incontinence is the same as the ruling on Istihaadhah (bleeding outside the monthly cycle of the woman) in terms of the necessity of washing the impurity, stuffing the head of the penis, placing a pad, and performing Wudu for every obligatory prayer.” [End of quote]

Ad-Dardeer from the Maliki School said in As-Sharh Al-Kabeer: “Not for those who have incontinence, abscess, and the like because their excuse is continuous. Yes, it is desirable for them to place a pad to avoid that (impurity).” [End of quote]

For more benefit on someone suffering from urine incontinence, please refer to Fatawa 387577, 365380, 343018, 349147, 354916, 358042 and 361150.

Allah knows best.
