Accepted Answer

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.

According to the Islamic Shariah you can not inherit from your family and your family can not inherit from you due the difference of religions. The Prophet said: "A believer can not inherit (anything from an) infidel and an infidel can not inherit from a Muslim". (Bukhari and Muslim) All the Muslim scholars have consensus that difference in religions is one of the causes that prevent inheritance.
