Websites perverting views of Islam
Fatwa No: 82846

This question is a clarification of the previous question I have asked. The question was regarding the demolition of the Jannat-ul-Baki and the Jannat-ul-Maula by the Saudi govt. in 1925. I am attaching the websites of the pictures for your reference. I was inquiring for the reason behind this. I don't have any inclination towards the site I have taken the photos from, I would like to learn the history.

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
Dear brother,
After having visited the site you mentioned, we found that it was a dissolute, perverted site advertising a creed different from that of the true Muslims - Ahlu Sunnah wal Jamaa. This site calls for forms of atheism and polytheism using the Al Al-Bayt and other people as their idols. The books published on this site contain reports written by miscreant and irreligious people who defame and slander the companions of the Prophet.
For this, we say that it is unlawful to visit this site except for scholars who can defend Islam against these allegations in the right way.
As for the pictures of Baqi and Mualla, if what is depicted by the picture is the Baqi with these domes and buildings on graves, the fact that Saudi government demolished these buildings on shrines is right and we hope Allah will reward them for this. In fact this is an application of the Sunnah of the Prophet. Muslim narrated that the Prophet said to Ali: "Do not leave an image without obliterating it or a high grave without leveling it".
Islam would never or permit admit establishing these high domes which are used by some ignorants and innovators to circumambulate around them, wipe themselves on these domes, supplicate them and make vows to them and many more forms of polytheist acts which Islam came to abolish. We ask Allah to guide us and you to the right path and save us from dissolution, perversion and corruption.
Allah knows best.
