Can a person pray two Witr in one night and is there a prohibition? Give evidence.

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the World; and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.

Witr should not be prayed more than once in one night. The evidence for this is the Hadith reported by Ahmad that the Prophet said: "No two Witrs in one (the same) night".
